Detroit for a day URGENT

Passing through Detroit Friday. Where should we go for soul food/ bbq , to round out our motown museum tour?

Slows has good BBQ, but the waitstaff service can be utterly abysmal.

My favorite oul food restaurant (w/decent BBQ) is Beans & Cornbread. Good food, good
service, good prices.

Both are good. Slows BBQ is superior, but allow time. If it were me, I'd go to Slows at an off-peak hour.

Slow's is good, but it gets packed. Which museums? Are you going to the Henry Ford?

If you're wanting some sort of upscalish soulfood joint, check out Beans and Cornbread as well (It's in Southfield, so a bit of a drive from down town, but their food is good). http://www.beanscornbread.com/

I'd personally recommend Slows though.
