Any ideas? Preferably downtown/west end.
I don't really want to go all the way to J-town, and Sanko didn't have any the last time I was there.
I see them at some no frills locations.
I have seen them many times as regular chinese supermarkets. I believe I've even bought them sometimes at real canadian superstore. I can't remember if they are there all the time or not though sorry.
PAT or any other Korean grocer with a decent vegetable selection?
I am guessing unless it is a high end or specialty Japanese grocer, they will be selling Chinese eggplants instead, which are very similar.
