Any other breakfast options for vegans besides Local Sprouts and Little Lad's in Portland?
it doesn't appear that GRO cafe is open anymore.

Despite the name, I'd try The Good Egg (in the Pepperclub location on Middle St.) They have a good porridge, I think, and I know they have soy milk.

Silly's Restaurant on 40 Washington Avenue in Portland, Maine has many vegan options, including breakfast but their hours aren't very early. As of April 2012, they open at 11am on Tuesday through Friday and at 9am on Saturday and Sunday. Their complete menu is posted on their website at: www.sillys.com

I like Silly's as well. Wish they served breakfast during the week.

We used to love Silly's, but i think Silly's has gone down hill over the years. They put too many freakin' ingredients in everything so the flavors are just a mishmash. The last two times I ate there, I didn't feel well afterwards and didn't think I'd go back. (I do have a touchy digestive system.) On the other hand, they do ofter vegan options.
