PC Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn - damn, this stuff is good!
I bought it on sale just to try, and I'm hooked. It's air-popped popcorn lightly seasoned with sugar and salt. The taste and texture is similar to Kernels popcorn, but not as sweet. Man, is it addictive! I pretend it's healthy so I can eat more.

Smartfood now has a sweet & salty kettle corn available, bought a bag when I spotted it by fluke at a Petro Canada this weekend. It's actually pretty good! A little light on the glaze though, you'd get alot more flavor from a hand crafted batch like at Kernels or the higher-end bagged stuff

I tried a bag of the Tomato and Smoked Paprika flavor and was pleasantly surprised. Not a bad snack for the price when on sale. I think I paid $2.99 for mine.

Say, how does this compare to the "Gourmet Kettle Corn" by Popcorn, Indiana brand? That stuff is amazingly fresh with a nice balance of sweet & salty, but goes for almost $5 a bag.

re: epsilontau
My co workers and I did a taste test at work because the PC stuff is cheaper.
We all agreed that the Indiana brand tasted better (better balance of sweet and salt, crispier). But we also admitted that we probably only noticed these differences because we were eating them side by side. One of the girls actually charted the differences in nutritional values and found the Indiana brand to be marginally healthier.
So the verdict is if you are a health concious snob, with a little extra pocket money Indiana brand is the popcorn of choice, but if you are honest with yourself you probably can not even tell the diffrence between the two.-

re: merlot143
Many Metro stores carry Indiana brand popcorn and sometimes have at least 3 of their flavours: kettle corn, movie-style, and white cheddar. Look for red bags. I agree with duckdown, their white cheddar is better tasting than smartfood!
Tip: inspect the bag for any punctures! I bought a bag long ago and it was terribly stale due to a tiny tear in the bottom of the bag.
