NEW CHICAGO RESTAURANTS??

Rumor has it that two new dairy restaurants are coming to the Chicago area. One is a pizza place another is supposed to be a full service dairy restaurant on the lines of a Denny's. Let's hope that they last more than a few months!

The pizza place that is coming to Chicago is going to be in Skokie, but reportedly not at Danali's old location. They will be located on Church and Gross Point Road. The second (Dennys type location) I believe is Chop Touhy reopening as a breakfast place.

Pizza has consistently been a disappointment which is really puzzling because my Eastern European-born mother could make better pizza than any Kosher joint has ever done in this city. For something so simple, the execution so far has been wanting.

Personally i think slice makes a great deep dish pizza, although they can have off days. I've heard the "Denny's" type restraunt is really going to be what chop touhy was, which doesn't really inspire that much confidence. I hope the pizza place opens in wrp though, we could use one other than tel aviv.
