Baskets of rolls and danish for breakfast like Rascal House and Pumperniks?

I remember growing up going to the Rascal House and Pumperniks for breakfast. The baskets of rolls and danish were yummy. I am visiting Miami at the end of the month with my children and would love to find a similar type of restaurant in the Miami - Ft Lauderdale area. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

I believe Grampa's in Dania Beach still does the platter of danishes thing, though I haven't been there in a few years. I don't think the place is especially noteworthy otherwise, but I didn't think much of Pumpernicks either.

You know who actually put out some danish, cinnamon rolls, etc. though not a Jewish deli style restaurant was the Morgan's for their Sunday brunch.

it's in Delray on W Atlantic between Military and Jog, you will have to Mapquest it but I am guessing 30-40 miles

Oh how I miss both of those places. There is nothing like them left. So sad.

my grand mother loved wolfie's in Ft.Lauderdale I miss the fresh bread smell when you walked into the place.you might like the 11th street diner at 1065 Washington ave 33139
while not even close to pumpernicks or rascal house I have eatin there many times and found the food above average. If you make it to palm beach county Flakowitz has that pupernicks kind of feel

Sadly, no. I don't think you will find this any more. The practice died with Rascal House.

They do a kind of coffee cake, instead.

The food is decent, the service is generally good. It's not Pumpernik's or Rascal House (Boca's Rascal house wasn't really Rascal House, either) but it's a decent breakfast.

Makes me really wish Ben's NY Kosher on Clint Moore would do breakfast.
