Need a Location for my Wedding Reception!! - Manhattan Beach & Surrounding Areas

Hi, i will be getting married in June of 2011. I am from Texas but am having my wedding in California so it is kinda hard to look around the area for wedding reception ideas. The wedding will be very small and on the beach. About 18 people in all. We would like a restaurant with a private area, somewhere we can have a couple of dances, cut the cake and a of course a good meal. We are not very picky on the type of food. (Seafood, Mexican, Steak, Italian). doesnt really matter as long as it's delicious.

It's not close to the beach, but I think Restaurant Christine in Torrance has a private space.

Zazou in Redondo Beach couls accomodate your needs. I would also get a copy of "Here Comes the Guide" for Southern California. I found it so helpful in planning my SoCal wedding.

How about Kincaid's at the Redondo Pier--right on the water. Also, the Cheesecake Factory in Redondo (also on water) has a private upstairs room that is very nice.

You can look into the Chart House in Redondo Beach. The venue may be a bit big for what you're looking for but they can roll in the beach wedding, dancing, etc all in one with ocean views.
