Where can I find green papaya?

Dying to make green papaya salad at home. Would prefer not to drive to SGV. Thanks!

Depending on where you live, I usually see it at A-Grocery Warehouse on Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park, or at either the Bangkok Market on Melrose a few blocks east of Western or in the market at Silom Plaza on Hollywood Blvd. a few blocks east of Western. If you're on the west side, I have absolutely no idea.

Should have figured markets in Thai Town (duh to myself) but have never heard of A-Grocery so may check that out. Thanks for the recs!

Most Asian Markets carry them. Try the closest 99 Ranch market.

Any Thai grocery store, often in SGV primarily Chinese grocery stores. I buy em whole but some stores sell plastic bags with pre-shredded green papaya.
