Castagna with older kids?

We're coming to Portland this weekend, and we have a reservation at Castagna for Saturday night. Our kids are 12 and 18 and have been to many nice restaurants. I'm just wondering how formal a vibe this restaurant has. We can easily switch to the cafe, but I'd like to try the dining room if it isn't too stuffy.

If your kids enjoy fancy food they will love this place...it's laid back fancy...absolutely delicious..and well worth it.

We ate there with a ten year old and a twelve year old and had a great meal, and were treated very well.

You should be fine so long as the kids are well behaved and reasonably adventurous eaters. If they dont go for anything off the menu, you can drop next door for a burger or mac and cheese.
