Brunch locations for runners

Help! My friends and I are marathon training so we run very early on Saturday mornings to beat the heat. However, after running 10-20 miles we need to refuel. We are looking for places to eat brunch that open by 9 or 10am on Saturdays, will allow sweaty/stinky folks, and preferably serve brunch drinks (mimosas, bloody marys, etc). Since we run at White Rock lake we are looking for any thing in that area or not far from the Uptown/ Oak Lawn areas. We've already hit Ozona's so many times and need some variety.

Barbec's. Not sure about the drinks though. Also, try dream cafe in the quadrangle. Capitol pub on Henderson also does brunch and so does the libertine on lower Greenville. Both of them will have drinks. All of these will accommodate sweaty runners and most have patio seating.

I'm also a runner who does long runs on Saturday morning. We go to breakfast every week; some of our favorite spots are:
-Barbecs (No drinks, but great beer biscuits)
        -Central Market's Cafe
        -State and Allen Lounge
-Chubby's (no drinks, nothing flashy, but decent food and great service)
        -The Taco Joint
        -Ozona
        -Buzzbrews (both locations)
        -Garden Cafe

I've also done La Duni after a run. I don't think they mind running clothes if you get there early enough.

We made it to La Victoria down on Ross after running one week last season. You have to chance that she is catering a wedding and is closed, but we hit it on an open week, and it was a fabulous treat after running. You might just try calling on Wednesday or Thursday to make sure she is open on Saturday. Have fun with your training!
