Friday Brunch???

We are planning our first trip to New Orleans, for late Fall. A Friday brunch would fit in great with our itinerary. Any places where we can find a good one???

  1. The Court of Two Sister's in the FQ serves a brunch every day from 9AM to 3 PM. There are a number of nice places serving brunch on Sat/Sun. Luke Restaurant serves an outstanding brunch on Sat/Sun located at 333 St. Charles. Commanders and many others do on the weekend.

    1. when you say brunch, what do you mean? are you looking for music? and/or a breakfast menu? do you want something casual or more dressy? outside dining?

many places are open for lunch on Fridays, check out Patois, Clancy's, Martinique, Commander's, Mr. B's, Bacco, Muriel's, Rib Room, Galatorie's, August, Emeril's, to name a few.

Nothing fancy. Casual, sit-down dining. Outdoor seating would be a great plus. We have some of the places you have mentioned on our list for dinner. We like brunch - somewhere with a mix of breakfast items, lunch items and cocktails. Your typical weekend brunch offering, but on a Friday - if that exists! THANKS

The NOLA CH's will disagree but I love Brennan's and they serve a breakfast brunch every day. It's ala carte and not buffet but outstanding. Enjoy.

          Brennan's Restaurant @ Royal St., New Orleans, LA. 504 - 525 - 9711.

Brunch is a little hard to come by on a Friday versus the weekend. Other than Littleman's suggestions, I'm not sure where else would offer a Friday brunch. I will go with Littleman's rec for Brennan's though. While the food isn't the best, it is still pretty good. I had brunch on Bacchus Sunday there this past Mardi Gras and my eggs were really quite good. It will also fulfill the other requirements such as outdoor seating, cocktails and lunch options. Court of Two Sisters isn't terrible, and the courtyard is really lovely, but I would pick Brennan's of the two.
