Passion Fruit Puree

Does anyone know where to get frozen passion fruit puree in the GTA, (actually I am in Halton Hills, but willing to track it down)? Or any other passion fruit puree product? I have been looking for it for quite some time, but unable to find it.

Your help is appreciated. Thank you.

  1. Since I'm not in Toronto I can't give you a location, but I've found it, frozen, in latin-american groceries. In Spanish it is "maracuya", and as such it will be labelled.

    1. There is a canned passion fruit product from South Africa that you may be able to find at Sedo Snax in Thornhill
or Memories of Africa - here is the link

      1. Try one of the latin-american grocers in Kensington market. I noticed different frozen fruit purees and bottled nectars the last time I was there.

        1. I saw frozen passion fruit puree at Columbus Bakery.

          1. Hi foodie-guru (or any other passion fruit fans), I am wondering if you found a good source for this. Columbus Bakery is quite out of my way but something in Kensington would be ideal.

Perola and the other latin-american store usually have it.

Excellent, I will see if I can make it there on my lunch hour. Thanks.

Hi jules, I did find a source real close to my work in Brampton - La Favorita Latin Market on Queen Street in downtown Brampton. They have lots of great fruit purees among other latin ingredients and inexpense.

I will probably never make it there but sounds like a great store, enjoy!

              3. They have frozen puree at McEwan. It will cost you a bundle though.

Good to know, thanks. The convenience may make it worth it to me.
