I am due to give birth next week and need a "last meal" suggestion....

Mr. Swank asked me where I'd like to go as one last night out pre-baby. I've settled on the North End but can't really narrow it down. Any ideas? I'm a fan of spicy sauces, bivalves, garlic, etc. Not a huge fan of Northern Italian. Ideas??

Not really what you're asking for, but I would think a full Speed's dog would be a great last meal, and would probably also induce labor, if desired.

I'd vote Neptune, given that the space and line pretty much rule it out as a destination with a baby or toddler.

I'd be inclined to pick a place that is tough to visit with a baby/toddler. I'm due in a month with my second and am paying attention to this thread! Places we've never gone with our 4 year old at any stage of her life - Neptune, Giacomo's, Daily Catch. Any place that is tiny with a long wait is tough with a baby or toddler. I love the linguine with clams at Pomodoro and the seating would make that place pretty much off limits with a baby too.

Maurizio's, Taranta, Daily Catch, and Neptune would be my choices with those requirements.

Giacomo's seafood fra diavlo sounds like it'd work for you.
