In Nashville this weekend for a Bachelor Party/Gentlemen's Night Out
Visiting Nashville this Friday with several friends. We are all professionals, etc., so this isn't a bachelor party as much as it is a Gentlmen's Night Out.
I am a def foodie, and would like to take my friends somewhere sophisticated, but accessible. Also could use some recs on a few bars.
What part of town are you staying in. Knowing where you will be staying is helpful offering suggestions. For instance if you are staying near the West End area there are many many fine restaurants that meet your requirements. If you are downtown then there are lots of nice places there. I hate to travel very far when drinking unless there's a chauffeur. Ask the GA AD.
I second Boundry. Miel is fine dining but casual and it's convenient to I 40 W a little W of 440. My favorite is Park Cafe which is also convenient to I 40/440 W of 440.
Boundry Cafe @ 911 20th Ave. South, Nashville, TN 615 - 321 - 3043.
Miel @ 343 53rd Ave. North, Nashville, TN 615 - 298 - 3663.
Park Cafe @ 4403 Murphy Rd., Nashville, TN 615 - 383 - 4409.
Lots of good possibilities ... are you looking for the whole steaks-and-cigars vibe, or something more contemporary? For the former, you might look at The Palm, which is located in the Hilton Hotel downtown. There's also the Nashville institution Jimmy Kelly's, but it's a bit ... ossified. For the latter ... hmmm. Bound'ry would be a good choice, as might City House or Watermark. For bars, if you like the artisan cocktail movement, check out Patterson House (midtown) and Holland House (East Nashville). All the good restaurants will also have a decent bar. I'm a big fan of the bar at Bound'ry -- there are two, one upstairs and one down, but they might be a little small for a group. There are lots of other options, this is just a top o' my head, I can't linger here long right now list.
