Bar Harbor - only 2 days - with vegetarians...
First trip to Maine - but huge Chowhound believer - thanks everyone for your posts - eating our way around the globe!!
With 2 days - from looking at the posts - the 2 places we must go are Cafe This Way and Mache Bistro - right??
Also - both of my daughters are vegetarians - any recomendations to make them happy at lunch (they can just do the salads at dinner....)

There is a vegetarian place at seawall next to the motel called common ground. You should also consider the Bagel Factory for lunch. They have a tofu reuben, great bagels with many toppings including goat cheese and sun dried tomato or honey butter. It is a little hard to find. It is off Cottage street down a dirt alley called Cadillac Ave next to the hardware store near where cottage meets route 3.
Morning Glory Bakery has some vegetarian sandwiches and a soup of the day.
The Lompoc Cafe has multiple vegetarian choices. -
Cafe This Way is great.
I think Havana is excellent too (but it's been two summers since we've made it over that way): http://www.havanamaine.com/
