Where to find ground bison meat?

I know I could go straight to Whole Foods, but I would appeciate any tips on where to find bison meat at the best price. Thanks..

HIllside Farms Bison in Telford has Bison meat. Here's a link to an article about it.

We really like their hotdogs too. Hendricks has grass-fed beef, but not Bison. They are right near each other, so you can easily check out both. Make sure you check the hours for Hillside, they are only open Friday late afternoons and Saturday.

Not sure about price and would think Italian Market option cheapest, but saw at Pumpkin Market the other day on South Street.

Wegman's. Though I hear there's a recall of some brands of bison meat. Anyway, Wegman's also has ribeye and sirloin- yum.
Readington River Farm in NJ- it's a drive unless you're from central/upper Bucks County, but why not, eh? Shopping in New Hope, get your bison, go home.

if you are in the 'burbs, Carl Valenza meats on Germantown Pike. we had buffalo burgers purchased there last night and they were great.

You can find ground buffalo at the Phoenixville Farmers Market on Saturdays between 9 & 1. I tried it for a gourmet burger and it was terrific!

D'Angeo Bros in the Italian Market grinds it to order. I haven't gotten it in a minute, so I don't remember the exact price, but I do remember that it was a fraction of the cost of Whole Foods and the cheapest I have seen it anywhere.

I was up at Henricks Farm and Dairy in Telford I think has it. If not, the farm next to them specializes in Bison.

There is an outdoor farmer's market on Wednesdays from 3pm to 7pm. It's located in the municipal parking lot at the intersection of Darby and Eagle Roads, in the Havertown / Oakmont section. They have a bison vendor. He has everything from steaks and sausage to burgers. The prices seemed reasonable and the menu looked interesting, though we haven't tried anything yet. Hopefully,we'll get a chance to try it this week.
