Berkshires - Northern or Southern New England?

Not sure which board to post on. WIll be in Lee, MA for one night in mid July. Would like recommendations in there or any of the nearby towns. Any cuisine is fine (except Mexican, we are from New Mexico and refuse to eat Mexican away from home.) Perhaps a historic tavern if the food is also good.

I love Chez Nous...also try Olio, a new Mediterranean in West Stockbridge -- quite reasonable and very good!

Try Rouge in West Stockbridge. The bar and rooms to the right offer tapas and sandwich menus (excellent) along with full dinner menu. Check the older board mentioned above; Rouge is a local fave.
Also, stop in at Cakewalk cafe on the main street for pastry. Have never tried their food, but the cinnamon rose is truly special.

Chez Nous is an outstanding French Bistro there. I would drive a few miles N to Lenox to
The Wheatleigh or Blantyre. Have a nice trip.

That would be Southern board. If you wanted to do a search for any older posts, you'd have to do so in the Archives of New England.
