Now I have not eaten hear in many years but we always went to kEESES fried chicken down by the beach off of commercial blvd in Lauderdale, I don,t go there as much because I am a sucker for La Spadas subs right around the corner. Alfred I 100% agree! SouthOcean - Frans is good, but its not like it used to be when Fran was up front and her husband out back. My last experience there, the chicken was really greasy, and tasted like they havent changed the oil in a while,

Im hoping I went on a bad day, but it didn't make me want to run back for more the next day like it used to..

From north Broward, its just a hop, skip and jump up to Boca, and Fran's Chicken Haven, 1925 N Federal Hwy.

A little hole-in-the-wall place in a strip mall, its generally agreed by everyone that's ever eaten there to be the best fried chicken in South Florida. Something to do with parboiling the birds first, then deep frying them in a simple batter -- dunno the exact details, but it's dee-licious.

Maryland Fried Chicken on Sample Rd is pretty good. Just west of Federal on the north side, its a chain also but tasty chicken.
