Steamed Mullet the Way Horitsuji's Restaurant Used to Make It

This is a question for some of you old timers. Anyone remember Horitsuji's downtown, across the River Street canal on Beretania Street. A popular Japanese lunch place for fresh fish, particularly their steamed mullet with ginger, chinese parsley and green onions. They later moved to Kukui Plaza, then folded, probably too big a move for them financially.

So is there anyplace you know of today that serves something as good as this. I haven't found one and have a hankering to eat this dish. Thanks for your help.

Nowhere near in tone, style (and price) but Alan Wong's often has a ginger steamed fish with shrimp hash that is my favorite dish they make.

I recall a spot in Hilo with its own fish ponds that does mullet.

sad to say I've had two bad experiences with Kenny's fish (2 out of 4.)

mullet doesn't seem to be served anyplace any more. wonder why.
