Food Blogs in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the best food blogs in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area. Already, I read FooBooz, Ed Hitzel, John and Liza are Eating In South Jersey, and Meal Ticket. Are there any other great blogs that I'm missing out on?

Thanks for the help!

  1. I enjoy Messy and Picky.

    1. Foobooz and Mealticket are my favorites, but the rest of my roster, in order of frequency of visits, is: Grubstreet (philadelphia.grubstreet.com), Phoodie (phoodie.info), Midtown Lunch (midtownlunch.com/philadelphia), and then a bunch of personal blogs that I usually visit when they're linked through one of the above (philadining, fidel gastro, foodaphilia, etc.).

      1. Drexel's Hospitality & Food Science runs this: http://tablematters.com/
        "Table Matters is an online publication about the intersection of food, drink, and culture from people who dream about lunch during breakfast, dinner during lunch, cocktails during work, dessert during dinner, and breakfast before bedtime."

          1. beefandbuns.blogspot is good, I write it. I like unbreaded, fwts,grub street

            1. I replied to this on the NJ thread, too, but I have a blog called SouthJerseyLocavore.com that focuses on local foods, NJ wineries, and restaurants and markets that support local farmers.

              1. There are a lot of great food blogs: Foodinjars, Foodaphilia, Oyster Evangelist, Straight from the Farm. I do a cheese blog called Madame Fromage (http://madamefromage.blogspot.com/

                )

                Hope that's helpful!

                1. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but www.hollyeats.com is a great source.

                  1. I really like SoJerz Phood (http://sojerzphood.blogspot.com/) because it is very personable. I feel like I am reading a recommendation from a friend. It is a fairly young blog but I see a lot of potential in it. The writer critiques restaurants in the Philly and South Jersey area. Restaurants range from the local pizza parlor to fancy restaurants. He is great about recommending specific dishes, which I love because it makes it easier to choose items off a menu once I visit the restaurants he has reviewed.
