Scaramouche is probably the best choice if you want both fish and pasta. Upscale though, what's your budget?

Malena's good, just stay away from the desserts.

        Malena's mediocre.

        Downtown: Scaramouche
        Yonge & Eg: Zucca
Yonge & Mt Pleasant: Phebe's Zee Grill (Wait! That's not Italian!)

I'd probably go with Zee Grill.

I was thinking Zee Grill, but then I looked at their menu online and didn't see any pasta. What has been your experience with the pasta options?

That's odd. I've had seafood pasta dishes there in the past. They were always quite good. I wonder why they seem to have dropped them. Oh well. I'm sure they'll be back soon.

It's possible they don't have their full menu online, and it's also possible they have pasta as a special...

Well, we have different tastes so we can just agree to disagree on that one.

Although Zee Grill removed the fantastic penne with lobster sauce from the menu years ago, my father somehow still manages to get them to cook it for him.

Jack, the owner, also gave my Dad a huge stuffed pike that he had in the restaurant basement, so there's some odd relationship there :)

Anyways, try Zee Grill, even if they don't have pasta...and if it's a requirement for this visit, try it some other time - it's one of my favorites.

The whole grilled fish at Zucca is fantastique. I think the pasta dishes are OK.

I do like Malena, although it's not really a pasta place (there are a few options on the menu, but the menu focus is Greek vs. Italian).

Mistura usually has some nice fish options.
