Red Oak?

I'm in the mood for Santa Maria style tri-tip this weekend. Does anyone out there know where I can get some red oak , logs, kindling, whatever? I live in Poway so the closer the source the better.

Chris- Olson Firewood in Escondido has a big selection of cooking wood. Before sending you on a goose chase I called to confirm their oak is red oak (Iowa Meat only has white) and she said it is. They're open until about 2 today, but always best to call first. Usually open a few hours on Sat, but don't know if that's the case on a holiday weekend.
