SF Breakfast on a Monday

Going to be on vacation in SF this Monday and we need a place for breakfast. My searches have brought up weekend only places and Mama's which looks fabulous but is closed on Mondays! Any suggestions? We are staying in Nob Hill and would like to go somewhere close, but we're not opposed to jumping in a cab/cable car. thanks in advance!

Just got back from SF today and had a fantastic breakfast at Sears this morning. It's near Union Square, so a little ways from Nob Hill, though admittedly I don't know how far. Good luck!

I'm sure you will get some help from the locals but in the meantime, a couple of ideas for places not too far from you/one cable car away that my "Big List" tells me are open Mondays for breakfast. YMMV so be sure to double check they are open and good :-). We've only been to Cafe de la presse which we enjoy and have visited repeatedly:

Brenda's French Soul Food 652 Polk St btw Eddy and Turk 415.345.8100 frenchsoulfood.com Closed Sundays. Saturday brunch:8am-3pm; Mon-Fri: 8am - 3pm Breakfast served all day. Lunch menu starts at 11

Café de La Presse Grant at Bush breakfast 7:30-10:30

Nob Hill Grille 969 Hyde St at Pine [phone] nobhillgrille.com breakfast/lunch daily 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Boulette’s Larder.com at Ferry Plaza 415-399-1155 M-F 7-7; Sun 10-2:30 brunch only

Moulin Rouge 887 Geary St at Larkin Tenderloin [phone]. CASH ONLY 7:30 to 2 7 days a week (NB this is I understand an old school, kinda divey diner)

Also nearish you and open on Mondays is Dottie's True Blue but I can't personally recommend it as we were not too impressed with the food and the lineups are insane.
