Orcas Island - Lunch Suggestions, Please

I've searched board for some lunch suggestions on Orcas Island and it seems like some of the places have closed or are open only for dinner.

Any new suggestions? I'm not concerned about price range and would prefer something locally based. Please help me find some good eats!

I'm also interested in good bakery/coffee shop for afternoon stop.

Thanks.

We take the ferry to Orcas every year during our week stay on SJI to eat at Portofino's Pizza. We love it. Just had a pizza there in early July :-)

There are several decent bakeries/coffee shops there. I've tried them all over the years and they were all good. They change owners pretty frequently though.

I'm obviously late to this party, but maybe some future readers will be, too. For lunches and bakery stops on Orcas, a great spot is Rose's Bakery & Cafe in Eastsound. The bakery has great breads and desserts, plus a small gourmet deli. Think "wine and cheese and bread" for a picnic.

The lunch-only cafe has a wood-fired pizza and does an excellent job with it. Plus other lunch items are available.

This place is called Roses in another post: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/734635
