HELP! Best FISH TACOS in Silverlake??!!

I'm in Silverlake tomorrow night and am searching for the best fish taco (grilled or fried).

Does anyone have any comments about:

EL SIETE MARES or

LA PLAYITA SIETE MARES?

I've been to TACOS DELTA and wasn't crazy about their fish tacos.

That first site, just like CH, is all opinion.

The bloggers are just an extension or precusor to the review sites.

But the point of every review site, should be expressing honest and differing reviews about a restaurant.

some opinions are well informed. there are plenty of bloggers, yelpers, chowhounds, and so on that are reliable and trustworthy.

rft's yelp reviews do suffer from the bandwagon effect, though.

1400 n virgil which is basically a driveway just south of sunset. He's up to about 7 days a week these days, I think until about 5 or until he sells out. Best thing to do is check his Twitter feed the day you are planning on going. He's very good about updating his hours daily.

Hopefully the salsa bar is clean and there is ice to keep stuff cold. They need to keep an eye on the ice and cleanliness!

i just went there for lunch while i was getting chocolate. the bar was a little messy, but not too bad. the ice could have used replenishing.

it's not a destination like ricky's fish tacos, but still ok if you're in the area.

Their chocolate is fantastic!! Esp the olive and chile ones!!
