Dinner before a show this Sunday! Any suggestions for restaurants near Place des Arts?

Hello Folks,

We've got tickets to a show at PDA on Sunday (Gypsy Kings) and we're looking for a nice restaurant.

Since the show is at 19:30, this doesn't leave us with must choice - we either eat before the show (super early) or after the show - which could potentially be 2.5 to 3 hours (which will be quite late).

I was thinking of Le Latini with a 17:00 reservation but it would be great to hear your suggestions.

Or you could try one of the many places in Chinatown, like Keung Kee - which are all open quite late, so you could easily head there after the show for dinner.

I haven't tried it but I've heard of Brasserie T on Jeanne Mance which is run by the gentleman who owns Toqué and F Bar brough to us by the gentleman that runs Ferreira café. You may want to check it out. They are both Brasserie type establishments though.

second the Brasserie T recommendation, unfortunately, if you're a big eater, you'll come out of there hungry though. I haven't tried F bar yet so i can't comment.

However, note that neither restaurant has an alcohol license yet, Brasserie T! is schedule to have it June 6th, not sure when for F Bar, but it looks likes neither will have it Sunday.
