Hi there! I would love to hear from everyone who has eatin at restaurants on the "Nautical Mile" in Freeport Long Island. Any favorite places? Any places to avoid? Would love all feed back. I am thinking of going there with a group of 6 for my birthday at the end of the month. Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks and have a great day!

  1. Pier 95 is a great continental old fashioned restaurant. It is a few blocks away from the main drag but it is on the water, Very good food. The Nautilus id on Woodcleff Ave, not on the water side but also has very nice food.

    1. I've always like Margo and Frank's Mermaid down at the end. Have been going there for years. It down at the end, quieter than the other restaurants with the outdoor bars, for a relaxing meal.

      1. sorry to say but from someone who lived close to freeport, i can't recommend any places there. i always thought that the right place would make a killing there. some places are ok but nothing special. i would love to be proven wrong.
