I've always wondered about TCF's specials...specifically the chicken fried steak on Monday. I never seem to be around there or wanting a CFS on Monday.

Speaking of daily specials, Tennessee Grill has some great ones, oxtail, roast pork, etc. Sorry, don't know the specific menu item/day.

        Great topic.

T is next to R on the keyboard -- probably a mistake

Yes, a typo...should be RCF (Rudy Can't Fail).

I would be interested in any reports on the CFS - gravy sounds way different and I don't know if that is in a good way - I like the classic milk & black pepper and even a brown gravy makes it another dish. Adding bacon, mushrooms and beer just seems wrong.

Jimmy Beans has a daily dinner special, $15. Selections are on the website at http://www.jimmybeans.com (in an image so I couldn't cut-and-paste).

Have you tried any of those dinners? I wonder what Sunday's Mexican Fiesta is; also if the fried chicken is similar to or better than T-Rex's..

I keep forgetting. I'd like to try the paella as well.
