Ready made pizza crust...?

CindyJ Jun 29, 2010 06:56 AM

I want to make "top-your-own" individual pizzas, and I'd like to use a ready-made thin crust pizza dough. Does such a thing exist? Is there a particular brand that's better than the others? Who carries it? Thanks for your help.

People tend to like Trader Joe's premade dough. 99 cents for 1 pack. You can also call around and ask your local pizza stores, some will sell you raw dough! I saw an interesting blog entry from a guy who got some from a local dominoes chain store and cooked it on broil using a heated cast iron pan!

I call my local Italian deli/grocery and ask him to order me a few packs of whole wheat dough (husband can't eat white flour) from his bread distributor - they freeze great, and cook even better.
