Anyone know of a good butcher who sells whole rabbit? Close to downtown as possible is best.

Tx

The vendor has a farm in Innisfil.

Funny enough, I saw unfrozen (I think) whole rabbit at the Loblaws on Lower Jarvis two weeks ago.

I have purchased from White House Meats in St. Lawrence Market - http://www.stlawrencemarket.com/shopp... - and T&T on Cherry Street. Both were tagged as from from the same supplier.

The Dundas & Pacific No Frills often has it as well.

Not a butcher, but Sun Valley on the Danforth had it when I last checked.

Not downtown, but for future references, I've been seeing them at the Longos on HWY 7 in richmond hill, and the one near York Mills/Leslie

If all else fails, you can contact Abate Rabbit Packers in Arthur. They are a family run business that specializes in rabbit, chicken, quail, duck and other specialty meats, focussing on poultry. To my the best of my knowledge, all of their product comes from local suppliers and they kill, cut and pack onsite. I know that they ship to Toronto quite often so they could likely tell you which retailers they are selling to. www.abatepackers.com

Go anywhere there is a high Maltese population, they love rabbit there.
