New dicey strawberry pesticide

And especially for Californians...

Dispute over a new pesticide, methyl iodide, which includes a neurotoxin and an endocrine disruptor, currently for use on strawberries:

Its really not that much of a concern for the consumer. Instead, the danger is for the farm workers spraying the stuff.
