Lunch at Niagara winery - suggestions?
My family and I are thinking of going out for lunch at one of the Niagara region wineries for a birthday celebration next month. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would recommend Peller Estates in NOTL. They have a very good Sunday brunch. On a nice day, reserve a table on the terrace overlooking the vineyard. Last time I was there, Chef Jason Parsons had an ice-wine themed menu... exquisite. You also cannot go wrong with Stone Road Grille. Food there is excellent though the ambience is not quite the same as Peller or Hillebrand. One restaurant you should consider, though not in NOTL, is Treadwells in Port Dalhousie. It's about a 20 minute drive from NOTL but well worth it. Great food and wine pairings, excellent tasting menu... enjoy!

We love Inn on the Twenty at Cave Springs. Had many lunches there and never disappointed. The room and view are both lovely, as is, of course, the wines.
I've also heard good things about Pennisula Ridge but we've never been. As Sarah Cat says, the patio is very nice.
All this talk about NOTL makes we wanna plan an outing. Yes, must do that!
