Best vegetable plate in the Triangle?
I'm seeking recommendations for restaurants in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill and surrounding areas that serve up good vegetable plates.
Joe's Place in Raleigh has closed. And so I'm looking for other suggestions.

I hope you get some good recommendations, because I love a good vegetable plate. It's what I used to order at Big Ed's back in the day - but I mean years ago.....
I'd expect people to mention that place on Western Blvd that I keep forgetting about....

My favorite veggie plates in the Triangle were at the following:
1) Pam's Farmhouse - Raleigh (Western Blvd.) - lunch - put together three or four of the sides to create a veggie plate for $5 and change, I believe. The mashed potatoes are homemade, the collards are wonderful, the green beans have a nice kick to them, the fried okra is first rate, and they also have yams (somewhat heavy on the nutmeg) and other non-veggie sides that I never went for. Your meal will come with fresh-baked biscuits and hushpuppies too. Everything made from scratch. I frequently drove over from Durham on weekdays just to have lunch there.
2) Watts Grocery - Durham - dinner - each day is a different veggie plate, and it'll be four creatively-prepared items. Bean cakes, leafy greens, black-eyed pea renditions, everything using fresh local ingredients and southern-influenced renditions.
3) Joyce and Family - Fuquay-Varina - the best Southern buffet in the area for veggies, so grab a plate and get made-from-scratch collards, corn, limas, amazing cabbage, green beans, peas, etc.
