Hit Farnham's finally

Though their deep fried stuff isn't oily at all, I think the deep fry is tastier at Clam Box. We should have tried the fried clams to get a better idea though.
They're the only one up there w/ grilled food and I had a craving for grilled scallops...they ended up a bit unevenly cooked though (smaller ones were a bit over cooked...biggest were just right)...$16 for the plate in the photo below.
The lobster roll had big bite marks on it before I could pull the camera out :-P It was nicely done though...very little mayo, no celery, on top of a piece of lettuce in a hot dog roll. They don't have a version w/o the fries unlike Clam Box.
Tried the clam chowder as well since one of our dining neighbors mentioned people come a long way to have it...flavor was ok if a bit bland and the chowder base was very liquid (not thick as in some variations), but the clams were nice and tender.
Also, unlike Clam Box, Farnham's is cash only (they have an ATM buried in a closet).

The view of the marshes was nice. A few people boated over. And there were no mosquitos (that we noticed) as you might expect there to be in that kind of area...
