Where to find OYSTER ROLLS on Oahu-Like the ones from former King's Garden.
I posted same question couple years ago but got no response. King's Garden used to be on Waialae Ave. in Kaimuki-made deep fried oyster rolls-they were oblong shaped with a firm texture that I would order for appetizers. I never found anyone else who prepared them. Ols timers should remember this dish and if you know where to find or have recipe for it please reply! Sitting here drooling about them.
Hey UES, sorry I can't help you with the oyster rolls, just wanted to say I used to eat at King's Garden back in the day. We'd go with family for dinner and also for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I'd forgotten about the place since it's now an office building, so thanks for jogging my memory.

I remember that restaurant and those oyster rolls. That must have been like 40 years ago? Tried looking for something similar a few years back but no luck.

I'm coming back home and can look in my Grandpa's recipe file. He used to be a cook in Chinese restaurants. Do you know the Chinese name of the rolls? King's Garden was our go to place for family celebrations. I remember they used to always sell Sunkist fruit candies by the register.
