  1. The Big Carrot has Liberty brand.

    1. Hewitt's, in any large Loblaw

      1. There is a stand in St. Lawrence Market on Saturdays that sells sheep's milk. The woman I talked to claimed that sheep's milk will make more cheese per litre of milk because there are more solids in the milk and less whey. I haven't tested to find out but it could be worth a try.

I have made ricotta cheese from the goat milk available at Loblaw's (in the health food section's fridge). The curds are tiny from goat milk, so the yield is small. I recently enjoyed sheep's milk from Nature's Emporium in Newmarket. It was delicious. The curds are much larger from sheep's milk, so it would be ideal for ricotta (or any cheese) making. Both the goat's and sheep's milks I've tried are organic. The goat milk was Liberty and the sheep's milk was from Ewenity Dairy.

        2. I've seen it at loblaws too, does anyone know where it's available for the best price?

I saw it mentioned as one of the 10 things for longevity on the Dr. OZ show and want to get some regularly since I'm lactose intolerant with cow's milk.

          1. Fiesta Farms also has it.

Thanks for the replies everyone, went to my local Loblaws, they had Liberte goats milk for 10.99$ 4L. I was shocked. Is this the price of Goats milk everywhere? I thought that the price would be just a little bit more expensive than cows milk but not double.

Where can I buy goats milk for the cheapest price?

I don't always look at the price, but $10.99 for 4 liters is about right. We purchase our goat milk at Loblaw's. Some times you can save a buck or so, however, the date is quite close to the due date. That being said, we have purchased Hewitts Goat milk and it is still good almost a week after the due date. Thought we now have a new baby, and would not even think of taking any chances with milk or anything!

Just came back from shopping at Highland Farms, they have both Hewitts for 9.99$ and Liberte for 10.49$ not sure what the difference is,but I bought Hewitts and will make soft goats cheese with it .

Goats are not huge milk producers like cows, and so the price will never be as cheap as cows milk in mass production.
