Great milkshake in ambler area?

localgal55 Jun 27, 2010 04:30 PM

Has anyone found a good milkshake in or near ambler? Haven't had one in years and am willing to travel a reasonable distance to find one.

Pardon my memory lapse, but there is a deli at the corner of Butler and Bethlehem Pikes next to the fireplace store that has had great milkshakes since time immemorial. Costa's? Haven't been in 25 years. maybe no longer there but, if they are, they are the best!

It is definitely still there. Family run. Decent hoagies and cheesesteaks but their milk shakes are outstanding.

Yep, Costa Deli. I have not tried it yet (which is surprising because I live less than 5 minutes away) but everyone I know raves about how good they are!

Yes, Costa Deli is the spot. Just be sure to have p l e n t y of time... They might have the slowest service in the county. Their sandwiches are good too.

Costa's is my son's favorite milkshake place. if you go, you'll feel that you're entering a time warp. The place probably hasn't changed in 50 years.

My first shake at Costa's was July 1st, 1969. Upon entering, I felt that marvelous 40s/50s feel. Still there.
I raise my cup to a happy 41st anniversary of our initial meeting.
Long live the greatest shake place!!!
