Vienna beef dogs in Birmingham, MI

Simply Good Food, a small take-out/cooking school is offering Vienna Beef hot dogs and sausages cook out in their parking lot -- corner of Adams and LIncoln. Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The real Vienna Beef products, hard to come by outside Chicagoland. $1.95 for a dog, $2.95 for the loaded Chicago dog, a little bit more for good looking sausages.
Now I don't have to drive to Ann Arbor!

I don't know if you want them prepared like a Chicago Dog or not, but I just saw them at Nino's in Troy. They had a selection of them, too. My kids all time favorites are the Bagel Dogs, which I had been buying at Costco for years. They don't sell them anymore, but I can pay and arm and leg at Nino's for them.

Might be closer than Ann Arbor, if you're out this way.

i don't know if this helps you at all, but if you want to stock up and cook them at home your local Costco may have them. they were handing out samples at the stores here in San Diego last week.
