Genetically Altered Salmon Get Closer to the Table

    As long as they're grown inland where they can't breed with wild salmon, I look forward to our new genetically-engineered salmon overlords. (Although they're steril-ish, their sterilisation procedure has a failure rate of 1% - 1% of the farmed salmon stock is a lot of salmon...)

      I have followed this one as part of financial research for some time - it's quite fascinating, actually. Potentially a game changer for supplying protein to almost 7 billion people. Pro/con arguments aside, I look forward to a good old fashioned blind taste test.
