Franco Manca - branch in Chiswick - quick Report
A friend had a layover in Heathrow a few days ago, and I met him and went for lunch in Chiswick, which was pretty easy to reach from the airport.
We ate at Franco Manca, which was pretty good, but not as good as my meal at the Brixton branch last year. The pizza toppings were good, especially the tomato sauce which I think is excellent. The crust was a bit too bready though - so much so that my friend remarked that it reminded him of nan bread, not pizza crust.
The ginger lemonade tasted too gingery and sweet to me - it reminded me of eating a gingerbread dessert, and could have used a bit more lemon in my mind.
Still, a nice meal, nice place, and fairly priced.
