Red Tomato in Souderton

Has any tried the Red Tomato in Souderton? It just opened Monday. What do you think?

Made a 2nd visit today for lunch. Ordered grilled chicken, smoked bacon, fresh mozarella on a ciabatta. Very delicious. They've added an additional column to the sandwich menu for veggies (roasted red peppers, portabella, grilled eggplant, etc.). Previously it was just meats and cheeses that you could choose from. The concept is to create your own sandwich with three ingredients for $6.99. You also get a choice of bread and spreads (pesto, basalmic, oil, mayo, etc) and lettuce, tomato, onion at no additional charge. Since the wealth of choices can be overwhelming, they've posted a list of suggestions on the specials board.

My husband and I have ordered from red tomato a few times so far. Their chicken parm & eggplant parm's are yummy and I love their sandwiches, fresh ingredients with delicious bread. they have an authentic italian deli counter and a full gelato bar that competes with capogiro's in center city which is really cool. My kids love it! It will sure to be a go to for us!

Hmm. New places are popping up like gardens all over the place! They don't seem to have a website. Where abouts in Souderton, and what kind of grub are they offering?

It is on Main Strreet in Souderton. It just opened Monday so they don't have a web site yet, and it is owned by the same family as Caruso's. Red Tomato has Italian Meets and cheeses. They have a coffee area with desserts and getalti. The gelati is delicious, by pricey!
