Martha's Vineyard - Grilling on the beaches/butcher rec's

I was just curious if anyone knew what the deal was with BBQ'ing on the beaches of Martha's Vineyard, especially in Edgartown. Is this allowed after 5pm? Also, any suggestions for good buthchers on the Vineyard.

Shiretown Meats is an amazing butcher. Owned by a very, very nice man. I can't help you with the beach regulations, however.

I concur about Shiretown. Some of the best steaks I have purchased came from that butcher. Very pricey but very worth it,
