Will be spending one night in Christiansburg. Looking for suggestions for dinner.

If you can go a little ways up 81 to Fairlawn, go to The River Company Restaurant and Brewery. They dry age their beef and produce their draft beers in house.

Also if you want the best steak and cheese sub in your life, go to Troy's in the Food Lion Shopping Center in Fairlawn.

We ate at Dude's last year I think. It is a drive in between town and route 81. I think we will try The River Country this year.

If you want good Chinese, go to Charlies Chinese Restaurant on Main Street.

If you want good hamburgers and hotdogs, go to Dude's on Roanoke Street.

I don't care for The Farmhouse. I think it's overpriced for what it is, but some people love it.

Never been to it. I lived in C'burg for a year and then worked in Dublin for three years so I ate at Charlie's, Dude's and Troy's alot. Been to The River Company with friends and loved it. I used to live two blocks from Charlie's so I got takeout many nights.

If I want BBQ, I go the Firehouse in Johhnson City, TN. That's my favorite BBQ place.
