Food shop near Waterloo
Maybe everyone else is ahead of me, but I have just discovered a really nice shop in Lower Marsh. It is a sort of supermarket but a much pleasanter experience. The meat is by Ginger Pig so is excellent and there is also a good cold meat/pie/pate counter. I bought two thick slices of cold roast beef, one from the fattier but browner end, the other from the red and bloody end. I also bought some hummus (it needed gingering up) and some very good Albion strawberries.
