Hi all,

We are staying in the Midtown area near the Fox for a couple of nights in a couple of weeks. We are going to dinner at Woodfire Grill on Friday night and concerts both Sat/Sun nights. What is the best Sunday Brunch near our area? What about the best place for breakfast/brunch/lunch on Saturday? Are there any great beer bars for Friday night to go to? How about places that treat the cocktail as an art? Thank you.

Mike

  1. The best Sunday brunch....could go lots of ways with that, from Park 75 at the Four Seasons to Murphy's to Babette's.

For breakfast try the Bake Shop.

Lunch or dinner at Baraonda across the street from the Fox. Or Publik Draft House on other side of Fox.
JCT Kitchen has a great lunch or dinner.

Beer bars: Midway in East Atlanta, Brickstore in Decatur (not really that close to midtown)
Cocktails: Holeman-Finch or Restaurant Eugene (also outstanding food)

Yep, Holeman & Finch for cocktails is a great choice. An interesting choice w a totally different vibe (and nearby Fox) is Noon Midtown, who has some great cocktails. Also, downtown a bit at the W is Drinkshop, on par with Holeman & Finch plus wins style points for hand carved ice for each drink.

    2. We don't ever go out to brunch. But I enjoyed one at Shaun's the last time we did.

I'd go to Highland Bakery for breakfast.
