Places to eat near Lower Jarvis/Queens Quay

Our work is moving to the dead zone that is that area. Looking for places that we can get tasty lunch food. We are used to having a good selection of sandwiches, burritos, sushi, burgers and roti near where we work now. Obviously St Lawrence is right there as well as the Loblaws, but any other suggestions would be great! A lot of us will have cars and bikes so a bit of travel is okay since there isn't too much going on down there right now.

Did they leave any room for any new food spots in the new Corus compound?

      Coruse Represent! 5th Floor!

Yeah, we got a cafe supreme. It's terrible. They've were serving free lunches while they were getting up and running and I couldn't even handle it. I can't imagine paying money. So far I've been biking to St.Lawrence or walking to Loblaws. I plan on trying Chaska soon too.

I asked this question about a week ago and there weren't too many responses.

    2. I really like Chaska for Indian food - http://www.chaska.ca/toronto/ - really friendly owners and good food at reasonable prices

      1. Argh so disappointing! Not really wanting to leave Liberty Village that this point. Although Chaska looks okay. At least there are some good choices for post work beverages.

Jamesm - What department are you in? I'm on the 2nd floor.. In tv traffic. No idea when we are moving in!

Hey T&T Supermarkets isn't too far of a drive either. Some people head up there for lunch occasionally. I'm on the fifth floor in creative services. I miss Liberty Village too....because I live in Parkdale. No more waking up at 8:20 and being at work by nine!

        2. Hi ikapai, I tried The Corner Place restaurant at Front and Lower Jarvis St. for dinner and it was pretty good. There are many bars and restaurants along that area too. ie. The Jersey Giant,

Nice. I guess we'll just have to explore when we get there. Still no idea when that is happening, but we have to leave our building soon.

And yes, lots of bars.. Like C'est What. Mmm delicious beer..
