What are the good places for lunch in Springdale, Glenbrook or nearby?

I also work in Glenbrook. Here are some recommendations.
Skiki - Japanese, 2 roll lunch with miso soup and ginger dressing salad for under $8
Dimare Bakery - Soups, salads and sandwiches on whatever fresh bread product you choose
Hope Street Pizza - Greek diner foods, great salads and pizza
Belltown Pizza - Italian, Hidden gem sister to Stamford Pizza restaurant. Love their Pasta Fagioli in the colder months and their white clam sauce spaghetti (canned clams but they add all other ingredients with a pizza dough fresh roll)
The Italian Deli - Hot and Cold Deli and grill foods
First Wok - Chinese, best around with good lunch combos. I pay extra for the Shrimp, Chicken and String Bean lunch special
Helen's Luncheonette - Lunch counter diner items is like stepping back to the 50's
New Wave Seafood - Seafood, retail fish but good lunch take out menu
Mi Ranchito - Peruvian and Guatemalan, Great Loma Saltado
Bachata - Dominican, more of a hot case buffet - Chose a meat, a rice and a bean for about $8. Great roast pork and red beans. Many combinations available. Closer to town on East Main Street
Sezam Market - Polish market, deli and hot case daily specials -and about 15 cooked sausages to choose from
Bukovina - Russian market, deli and hot case daily specials

I take out from most of these places. With the last four their are language issues but you always know what kind of meet you are eating.

This is a great list from a part of Stamford that doesn't get much attention here. Thanks for posting.

Agreed, this is a great list. I did not specify cuisine because I wanted to see what was out there. Lots of options, apparently!

I spelled Shiki wrong as well as meat and there. I was hurrying because I wanted lunch.
