Any place good on the Newburgh waterfront?

Just wondering if anyone has been there and if it is worth it to make the trip....I don't live too far away. I just don't want to go and be disappointed with overpriced mediocre food. I'd rather eat somewhere else first and just go for drinks if that's the case! Thanks for any suggestions!

  1. My friend and I enjoyed lunch at Havana 59. We both got sandwiches (I got the Cuban and she got some other type of pork sandwich), the sweet potato fries were awesome, and service was friendly. The lunch prices were reasonable. I'd try it again for dinner. That's my only experience with dining on the waterfront though.

    1. i know that this doesn't really answer your question, but you might want to eat at machu picchu (link: http://www.machupicchurest.com/) in newburgh and have drinks at torches.

      1. About a month or so ago we ate at the River Grill, I think that was the name, we enjoyed it very much.

          1. Thanks so much for the suggestions! I gotta say I am drawn toHavana 59. I grew up in Miami and I really miss Cuban food. Also, they have karaoke on Wednesdays....could be a great time!
