Martha's Vineyard.. with kids??

We have our first trip to the Vineyard coming up soon, and I'd love to hear some recommendations on great restaurants on the Vineyard that are kid-friendly. Our kids are used to eating out, so "kid restaurants" are not necessary - just places that are kid appropriate. Mostly we'll be doing casual restaurants (and probably some take out), though we'd love to do 1 more special night out if possible. I've seen a little written up about Lure out at Winnetu - any thoughts? Other ideas? We'll be in the Oak Bluffs area. Thanks so much!

  1. Not sure if this is too late for you but some kid appropriate places that come to mind include just about any restaurant in Oak Bluffs and Edgartown with a few exceptions. I would not bring kids to the Sweet Life, Mediterranean or Deon's in Oak Bluffs as they really are geared to adults. The rest- you'll be fine, especially if you go on the earlier side to a spot like Offshore Ale. In Edgartown- same thing. All would be fine except the more high end places like Atria and L'etoile. The island is a kid friendly place. They'll enjoy it.
