Reservations in the North End

  • 7

I am in charge of finding a restaurant in the North End for a Tuesday night in early July. Some of my favorites do not take reservations and my guests are not big on waiting in line. Any recommendations?

If you're willing to walk around and take a table at whatever place has an opening then it won't be a problem, but the North End can be crawling with people on any summer night. My favorites that take reservations are Mamma Maria, Prezza and Vinoteca di Monica.

      Vinoteca di Monica
143 Richmond St., Boston, MA 02109

      Prezza
24 Fleet St., Boston, MA 02113

      Mamma Maria Restaurant
3 North Sq, Boston, MA 02113

    2. Lucca, Taranta, and Vinoteca di Monica are all excellent and all take reservations. Check out Open Table too.

        1. Thanks for all the replies. I saw Prezza's menu - definitely a possibility. Will look into the others. Again, thanks.

My vote is for Vinoteca di Monica's....really great fresh meals....had a black truffle pasta there last time, YUM!

          2. Taranta also takes reservations. They only have a beer, wine and cordials license, but the food is excellent.
